Freeze Your Balls Off is coming up on Jan 16th-18th! The rally will be celebrating its 10th year and Sully will be celebrating his 1st!

All scooters and motorcycles are welcome to join us for Freeze Your Balls Off. You can register for the rally online or at the rally...or just meet us at the Pinhook on Saturday night for our big shindig. We have The Dirty Little Heaters, The Bootlegs(link is to some older footage) and the best Soul DJs in Raleigh and Durham.

BBQ Ride!

Thanks to all that made it out for the Snow Camp BBQ Ride. The weather was perfect, the food was excellent and the scenery was beautiful(not so much for some of those odors though!).

The 9 riders(and 5 following in John's car) left Weaver St. in Carrboro and scooted down Old Greensboro Highway to Snow Camp. After tearing into the buffet and getting our fill of fried chicken, pulled pork, banana puddin' and biscuits, the ride wound its way back to Carrboro where everyone relaxed with beers at Southern Rail.

We will definitely have to get this ride going more than once a year!

April 08 Tech Session

It was a gorgeous day for wrenching, sipping beers and general hanging outing. The session drew a decent turn out from the Incriminators and a few new visitors...Richard brought a beautiful Rally200 that needed a bit of maintenance to get running, Tony rode out from Cary to join us, and Logan(a UNC photojournalism student) was finishing up a project on scooter culture. We had quite a bit of wrenching going on too... John is almost done with his Molossi engine, 32 completely took over Richard's Rally200 project and got it to run briefly before some fuel flow issues cropped up, and then there were a couple of smaller jobs got completed too.

Snow Camp BBQ Ride May 24 11am

Here are the details for May 24's Snow Camp BBQ ride. The Incriminators are meeting at Weaver St. Market in Carrboro around 11am before heading to Ye Olde Country Buffet. While we welcome anyone on scooters and motorcycles to join us, the ride will head out of town down Old Greensboro Highway, so please be on a vehicle that can hold at least 45-50mph.

Tech Session Sat. 26th

Dust off your workshop manuals, grab a six pack and your wrenches, The Incriminators have scheduled a spring tech/maintenance session on Saturday April 26th starting around 11am. Johnya is hosting the tech session at their new house, so if you need directions, just email us.

Once again, it was a very low key meeting last Sunday, but to keep things interesting there were several new faces. Paul showed up with a nice looking late 50's Vespa, Lance was there on a 70's BMW /6 (not a scooter, but damn cool anyway) and Richard(uh oh another Richard!) came with a blast from the past in a trailer...a '75 Rally200 that is new to Richard, but familiar to a few of us.

We have some rides in the plans for the near future. Snowcamp BBQ Ride 2 and a warm weather version of the Durham Bar Hop/Neighborhood Ride. Details and dates will be announced soon!

Triangle Cycles Raffle

Rumor has it that Triangle Cycles is raffling off a Vespa LX150 with proceeds from the raffle going to the breast cancer fight. The details we've received so far: tickets are $10, no limit to the number of tickets sold, the drawing will be in the Fall and you will not need to be present to win. Trying something new, FYBO and Sully

So, I am trying something new here: using Blogger to write this news section. Is this easier than before? Bah, who knows, but maybe we are now cooler for it since we can use words like blog and blogosphere and bloggity bloo.

FYBO was truly freezing this time around. Snow fell on the rally just after breakfast, but there were scooterists out braving the weather anyway. The rain/snow plan went into effect and everyone hit the bowling alley for an afternoon. Thanks to everyone that made it out and especially thanks to all of our sponsors!

Sara and I completely missed the rally for the 1st time forever becuase on Friday morning of the rally, we introduced Sullivan James Davis to the world. Sully entered the world 9lbs 6ozs, 21 inches long and a head that was average for an 11lber. He's a big'un.

The Half-Assed Christmas Ride was a ton of fun and Johnson Dodge/Chrysler was very pleased to have us bring in so many gifts! I guess next year we will have to use our whole ass and make it happen again.

Updates galore! The club members section has been updated with the right amount of Incriminators. So all you local folks that have been buggin' me to get their picture up(cough Richard) you will have to find something new to bug me about.

Join the Incriminators Half-Assed Christmas Ride! All two-wheeled vehicles are welcome!

December 16th meet at Charlie's on 9th ST. in Durham around 1pm. We will bump around to various bars in Durham with neighborhood/district rides in between the stops. Bring a toy if you are interested in donating to Toys For Tots, but it isn't a requirement. If you do decide to bring a toy, please follow Toys For Tots' requirements for donating toys.

This ride is going to different bars around Durham. If you can't be in a bar without getting blotto, this is not a ride for you. While we certainly welcome fun loving jackassory, your safety is your responsibility and the Incriminators will disavow your existence should you cross the line and drink yourself to complete douchebaggery.

Updates? What's that? The almighty webmaster was in between web design software and now armed with a nice new copy of Dreamweaver, the updates should be a little more frequent.

The Incriminators would like to welcome Molly Suzanne Buhrmann to the world of oilly engines, smokey exhausts, and socket sets. Congratulations Johnya!

Down with Textamerica. They decided their service was worth something and started charging money. Needless to say, we disagree with that assesment and moved the right side's pictures to the free services of Flickr. We are basically starting from scratch, so bear with us as we get more photos generated.

Thanks to Tonup-NC for hosting another great rally. Cool bikes, great people, and killer bands! Although we were disappointed at the number of scooters. If you didn't make it, shame on you!

FYBO was a huge success! Thanks to all of our sponsors & venues, ton-up for hosting that great ride and especially thanks to everyone that made it out. We attracted over 50 bikes(scooters and brit bikes) and over 71 people registered for the rally.
The News and Observer did a little article on the rally too!

The 8th Freeze Your Balls Off scooter rally starts in one week! Officially we are kicking off the rally on January 13th at Broad St Cafe, but we will be joining Solid Sound System at The Federal for a pre-rally party on January 12. Come on out! As always all two wheels are welcome.
